Fantastische show, heel kort (5 kwartier met toegift erbij) Old school Pre Rock en Roll, buddy holly, oude Elvis stijl. Live gaan ze helemaal los. Nick heeft regelmatig een beetje surf rifjes ala Dick Dale.

In Berlin with Astrid for our 5th aniversary, we visited Mystic Friday @ the Kit Kat Club.

This was quite something! Being used to the rather tame full-on psy parties in the netherlands (namaste, ruigoord), Berlin proved itself rough, edgy and worthy. It was a psy-party like any other, but with a sensual twist. Most of the visitors where 'regular' partyfolk like ourselves, but here and there where some Kit Kat Club regulars, spicing up the party in an unusal way. The party was loaded with sensual energy, half undressed woman, people asking you for perservatives and the likes. It was a great experience, not likely to be forgotten!

DJs (Funky Dragons, cubixx etc, see flyer) played full on like they should.
Drinks at very reasonable prices, beer is dirty cheap in Berlin.
9/10 stars, unforgettable evening!

3 Oktober 2012, The Rival Sons, Melkweg Amsterdam

Verjaardagscadeautje van Sjoerd; een optreden van de Rival Sons in de Melkweg. De band is een volledige cliche, technisch erg goed maar originaliteit een 0. Een mish-mash van Led Zeppelin, The Doors, jaren 80 glamrock en nog een dozijn andere invloeden. Mensen waren gematigd enthousiast. Een fan in de rookruimte (voor de deur) verzuchte "Als ze nou 40 jaar eerder geweest waren waren ze echt zo groot geweest!"



De Melkweg heeft tegenwoordig een geweldige licht-installatie die vooral bij het voorprogramma de show stal.
